that/those 代表【前述】的名詞
A is different from B.
但 A 跟 B 描述的是同一種事(物)。這時會用 that/those 以避免 B 中出現
重複的文字。
例: The life of a child is different from that of a man.
  = The life of a child is different from the life of a man.
    小孩的生活和大人(的生活)是不同的

這是高中英文的常考題目。
